Spirit-based Actions

01
NEVER ALLOW THE VESSEL
TO BE RUSTY OR DIRTY !

The Principle on On-site Confirmation and Spot Checks

With the development of online communication tools, it has become easier to communicate without site visits.
Although we use such tools, when necessary, we prefer telephone calls to email, and face-to-face contact to telephone calls, and ultimately value on-site and spot check confirmations.
Using the experience and footwork of a wide range of employees from the young to the experienced to visit the ship to the extent possible, we will strive not to miss any slight rust, dirt, or problems onboard the ship that could become a source of trouble.
02
SAFE OPERATION!
(SAFETY FIRST !)

Meticulous Risk Management for Safe Shipping

Various risks exist and occur that threaten the maintenance of safe and smooth shipping.
At Toei, we are working to avoid and mitigate the risk of infectious diseases such as coronavirus, injuries, and illnesses that can befall crew members from embarkation to disembarkation in the crew dispatch business, as well as the risk of operational disruptions during the period from the port departure to arrival, then to the next port departure in the ship management business.
In addition, we visualize those results and link them to continuous improvements (“kaizen”), with “Safe Operations” as a watchword in our work initiatives.
03
QUICK AND CLOSE
COMMUNICATION !

Active Exchange of Opinions, Both Inside and Outside Toei

Our representatives look ahead to the future of the customer’s ship and, through frequent communications with the customer, make optimal proposals for the customer to achieve both safety and economic rationality.
In addition, everyone at Toei has been able to handle a wide variety of situations by working to resolve problems while sharing information and exchanging opinions across departments, positions, and responsibilities.
We provide safety and security to our customers,
imbuing the Spirit of Toei in actions one by one,
and protecting the customers’ assets and credibility.
